“I grew up in a suburb of Boston in a very large family. Being one of twelve children, I have always been worried about finance. I inherited a strong work ethic from my father who worked for the phone company and retired at age 55 – him being able to do that has always impressed me! As a single parent, I experienced a lot of financial insecurity and learned to manage my finances to provide a wonderful and secure life for myself and my daughter. More importantly, I have passed on to her the drive for financial independence. I have spent over 50 years in the financial industry, and I take pride in my contribution towards the implementation and execution of a successful estate plan.”
Betty joined TFC Financial Management in 2013 after spending 30 year working at Collaborative Insurance Agency, Inc. (a shareholder-owned risk management firm). Over those years, she worked closely with TFC shareholders, advisors, and clients in providing life and health insurance support and service.
Betty is TFC Financial Management’s Business Manager, and her responsibilities include Accounting, Human Resources, Contract & Compliance Management, and IT support.
Family is most important but secondary is being a member of the Holliston Lions Club. She sits on their Board of Director as Treasurer and participates in all fundraising and humanitarian efforts. In recognition of her dedication, she received a Melvin Jones Fellowship Award from the Massachusetts Council of Governors (District 33M). The Lions motto is “We Serve” and Betty lives that philosophy in her personal life as well as within the TFC community.
She adores her kitties, Lio and Alfred …
