For those born on or before April 30, 1950 (defined by the Social Security Administration as having reached Full Retirement Age by the end of April 2016) who are not yet collecting SS benefits and intend to delay commencing benefits, it is recommended that you contact the SS Administration and “File and Suspend” your benefits before the end of April 2016.
